Doing her best RSPCA 'Save me!' face. |
I should introduce you to my baby. Okay she’s not a human baby, but she is the closest thing I have to a child. Her name is Sookie and she is a 19 month old border collie. She is the most beautiful, wonderful creature in my life. She adores being the centre of attention, so much so that when I'm working she will climb onto the kitchen chair next to me - stick her nose in my face and paw my hands, until my full attention is on her. When I ignore her she decides to bring me toys - when I continue to ignore her - she just goes and gets another toy. This goes on and on until I either play with her, tell her off (in which case she will go and skulk under some item of furniture) or until her many, many toys cover the kitchen floor and 'you know who' has to put them back in the toy basket (only until the next time!).
She can be very cute when she tries! |
This post wouldn't be complete without also mentioning Eric (white) and Bill (sense a theme here?) our lovely little fishes.
Eric has one orange eye and one white eye. We took pity on him - thinking that he would fit in with our family of misfits! Until next time my dear reader... |
Sookie is beautiful. My best friends supervise me all day while I work, my cat Ollie must be curled up in my lap and my Chow Chow Charlie sleeps behind my chair so I can't go anywhere without him knowing! :)
ReplyDeleteYou inspired me - so today I introduced my pup: http://www.hectic-eclectic.co.uk/blog/index.php/2013/08/08/charlie-chow/
