We grow great by dreams.
Dreamers ... see things
in the soft haze of a spring day,
or in the red fire
of a long winter's evening.
Some of us let these great dreams die,
but others nourish and protect them,
nurse them through the bad days
till they bring them sunshine and light
which comes to all those
who sincerely hope that
their dreams
will come true.
~ Woodrow Wilson
Actually this isn't a poem, it was part of a speech that President Wilson made, but Susan Polis Shultz editor of 'Don't Ever Give Up Your Dreams' put it into poem format.
